Where is the pendant in antrim escape
With the scroll in the compass, if you look at it you'll see 8symbols. Look between the first 2 and it should look like a number in bubble writing.
Do that between the third and fourth, fifth and sixth, and the last 2. With the map, remember the big lines aren't on every 5. Just finished! Thanks to everyone who put clues up to share :- great game.
The handle for thecupboard is on the far right cupboard on the south wall. The number in the compass I use these number to open the scroll.. Anyone gotten rusty key but feels tt it is redundant? I am trying e game after I completed once. Looking for e secret exit Pls advise. I cant figure the bricks!!! Its sooo hard to found out! Am I gonna touch some special bricks?!
I really need help on this chandieler view stuff Nothing works for tippin it upside down n all dat other stuff ppl say Help please :. I need help to put the coins in the holes to get the sword if anyone could help with the combo please assist thanks. For the coins follow the Colour code balls at the table below the painting. Remember the colours and go back to the book binding.
Memorize the years as per the colour balls and insert in the coins accordingly. This map thing is NOT working for me. Simple right? I've tried lots of different combinations. I have tilted the phone tring to find the yellow gem and the red key. What is the chandelier view? I have figured out everything on my own, but cant figure out the chandelier.
I am stuck on the coins also I have and this is the order of the books but it's not doing anything HELP!! The order for the coins is the order of the books on the shelf. Zoom into the middle section at the top. There are five books all with dates on them that match the coins. Hope this helps. The date on the note are the coordinates of the location of the last gem behind the map?? Update on the coin box. The colored gems correspond with the dated book colors. Put the coins in the order of the gems.
Also after a while I may get bored about the game and answering peoples questions so beware if I end up not answering any questions just search on google or post your question on a site that will.
Good now ask away. That is quite possibly the most pointless post it has been my misfortune to read in my day How do I get the gem from the map I know it's there I just can't get to it : this Is the only part I need help with and would be so grateful to anyone who could help me : thanks.
If ur having trouble with the scroll don't open it fully then squint ur eyes half closed and the numbers will appear in bubble writing. I can't zoom on the books on the shelves to figure out the years the coins should go in.
I have tried everything and I cannot get the gem from the map any suggestions I understand how to use the Coordinates they just dont seem to respond. Lol secret exit!!!! Its in the middle Closet under the bookcase!!! You need the candle in the dark hallway behind the door 2 read some weird english. When you look at it up side down youbwill see like 12 numbers from 1 to 5. Those when you play the numbers at the musicbox the secret exit will appear in the closet under the musicbox!!!!!!!
Nice game btw. On the left off the map you see 12 littpe stripes. On the top you see i think 30 stripes. So just count 12 down and 20 to the right and you have your coordinates. SoraX1 hello I'm tryin to do the secret ending I'm up to the but in the dark ciridor wiv der strange wrightin can u plz help : BTW SoraX1 cool name for u is it off a vidio game or sumint? Great game - got stuck on the coins because I'm partially color blind!
I needed my wife to match the colors for me. I haven't started the secret exit yet, but does anyone know what deal with the clock pendulum is?
If you rock the iphone back and forth enough times, the clock strikes three times and a message comes up saying that the clock made a weird sound. Retarded game - mindless clicking all over the place to go anywhere - and I wanted to hit the cat with the hammer.
Speaking of hammer - where did that go? Smashing bricks with a hammer is more realistic than tapping with your fingers on a brick wall. Stupid game. I can't believe how many ppl are asking the same questions as those already asked!
Read people!! I haven' find even a trace or anything to the secret exit, is it real?! It won't let me connect the wooden piece to the brick for the hammer. The eff? About that compass In a compass, the pointer always points north.
What I think confused some ppl is that they turned the compass so that the red mark would be at the N E W S positions, when in fact you should turn it so the pointer points to N E W and finally S on the compass!
For example, to get W, the red mark must be to the right, so the pointer, which is always up, will indicate West on the compass. Get it? I know, I was confused myself. Alright guys this is pathetic. Compass: it rotates opposite. North is red. So if the red dash is on the left, east is on top. Compass number: it's not the lines, but whats between the lines. You might have to squint Map: keep on tapping, you'll get there.
Tap its eyes and record with its left or right each time until the cats eyes go up. Go to the wall with the clock. Tap the pendulum.
Swing the pendelum hard in the directions you wrote. If you do it right, the last chime will sound different. Go to the face of the clock now and tap the doors where the bird is. Use it to unlock the other lock on the door next to the clock.
Now, tap the door at the end of the hall. I am stuck on the part where u read the writing on the paper after u do the compass thing. Roman numerals would be easier!!!!!!! I tried the secret door and got it unlocked using the cat trick but it wouldn't open so now I it wont let me go through it to read any numbers! My candle is still lit. But now everytime I press the door it says it's locked again.
And I tried to put in the code for the cat again to get another key but it just makes the different gong sound but a key doesn't appear again. Can someone please help?? I appreciate it a lot!! What is it?!! Its driving me nuts.. This game is stupid - the white gem thing behind the map is ridiculous and tapping the correct coordinates doesnt work. What a waste of time!!!! Wonderful games I ever play It really crack my brain But that sense of sucess when u solve the puzzles feel so great!!!
Have give up my beauty sleep becoz of this game but luckly manage to complete within 24 hrs Thanks everyone on the wonderful tips especially Mike diddo!!! This game rocks!!! Hope the next sequel will be out soon!!
Friday, January 29, Antrim Escape Walkthrough. Read the original walkthrough before you go onto the alternate exit walkthrough. Finally solved Antrim Escape. I have to say this is one of the best iPhone games I have played so far. And one of the best room escape game. The graphics just kick ass. And some puzzles are very well thought out and make good use of iPhone's hardware features. I thought I would write a walkthrough for those of you that are stuck.
But the amount of satisfaction from trying and trying and then being able to solve it is just undescribable. I labeled the four walls according to the direction of the compass. Each wall begins with items that you can pickup right away without solving any puzzle. They are marked "item" under each wall. The other objects are puzzles. So the combination to the scrollbox is different for each person and different each time you RESET the game in the welcome screen. North Wall. Balcony Key item.
Candle item. Pendant item. Left Drawer. Middler Drawer. Right Drawer. Silver Faucet Handle item. Fake Door. Hammer Handle item. Cloth item. Coin inside the car item. Left Cabinet. Middle Cabinet. Right Cabinet. Drawer Handle. Crystal Ball. Music Box. Balcony Door. Music Box Missing Piece item. Tilt the iPhone upside down and you will see the chandelier on the top. Pickup the Yellow Gem. While in the chandelier view, shake the iPhone to make the Red Key drop.
Also pickup the Candle and Pendant. In the sink, there is another Coin after you drain the dirty water. Fill the sink with fresh water and soak the Cloth into the water. Play the tune of the Music Box: 1,3,5,5,2,4,4.
You will get a Blue Key inside. Update: in version 2. Double tap the Hammer Head in the inventory to bring up the detail view.
Then highlight the Hammer Handle and apply it to the Hammer Head. Pickup the C oin and take note of the written time on the paper. Use the time written on the paper to solve the Clock puzzle. A bird will mouth a Golden Key. Inside is a compass, the code to open it is N. The Red marker is North. Turn to North, hit the button, then East and hit button, then West, and finally South. The N. Once you opened the compass, there is a paper with numbers written on it.
Look carefully. They are numbers to open the Scroll Box. Use the numbers found in step14 to unlock it to get a Green Key and a Screwdriver inside. This reveals the coin box. Up to this point, the Candle should have melted.
There is a coin hidden inside. With all 5 coins you found, put them into the coin box according to this: - the years in each coin correspond to one of the books in the SOUTH WALL on the top middle bookshelf.
Make note of the position. Now we need to find the last gem — the white gem. I just found Emma again so I am confused and ther is a keyhole in the metal door where does that lead? For those of you trying the code from the door, you have to do it in the same order as it is. I'm pretty sure a lot of you are doing it backwards.
That help anyone? I can't get to the alternate exit I don't know how and I am dying to play the alternate exit please help!
Cos i used the gold key from the bird in the clock on the door, it wont let me use it to unlock the left cabinet door on the North wall, so cant get the script. Can you get 2 keys from the bird? Getting annoyed now xxx. Hi I can't seem to get the key from the bird in the grandfather clock on Ethel exit. I have the right sequence. Do I need to change the time as in Emma exit? Any help would be greatfully excepted. Thank you. Read the walk thru carefully DO Not go for sword on alternate exit Could not have made it without this help!
Thank you! I put the gems into the sword but then found the parts for alt ending so is there any way of getting them back out the sword to complete it.
So annoyed if not I didn't realise I'd need them elsewhere. Only played again to get alt ending now am this far don't want to restart!!! I've tapped it several times but I can't see any metal socket in step 9? Help Ive completed every step and it says the secret gates are opened, but when I went there it's locked!!
Firdaus You don't go to the metal door. You have to click on the middle drawer of the South Wall and put your coins and gems into the hole. Heyy mike, loads of thanks to you for your great help! I tried doing the alternate ending but when i reset the game there is no check on the alt ending and i cant click on it!! Im getting fraustrated.. Just play again the game, but this time do the steps needed to open the 2 locks' door. Thanks alot for the walkthough, but I'm having trouble opening the metal door, I know the candle is need in the last part, so I didnt use the candle to read for the compass code NEWS on the mirror, but after the compass is opened for the key, my candle show it's burned out : What should I do?
I opened the pendant but I didn't get the gem off the front. How do I close it?! I can't figure this out! For the previous poster - you don't take the gem from the pendant, you get both gems elsewhere. For those having trouble with the music box code - I was having the same problem until I realized I still had the candle selected.
Making sure no items were 'in use' solved the issue for me. Having problem in obtaining 2nd key from the bird. I've tried the sequence in opposite direction for many times as well as the normal directions that the cat gave me and a gong sound produced but when u go to the bird there it doesn't give me the key :. Hey I tried to put the coins in the hidden socket with the gems for the alternative exit but it kept saying that i have to check the sequence from the books which i already did please help.
I can't get the middle drawer in the desk to open because I used the gold key in the fake door. The door just won't open now. For the people complaining that the metal door is still locked, the metal door is NOT the exit.
Last time I checked, doors weren't tunnels. Climb through that. It is very cool of Game Hive to release an update of Antrim Escape. The version 2. I really enjoyed playing through this room escape game with such sophisticated graphics. Now I get to relive it with an alternate exit! And this time around, the puzzles are much harder. Game Hive really needs to pay back the sleep hours they took away from me. Read my original walkthrough if you haven't solved the first exit.
Here's the walkthrough for the alternate exiting. Again, from my last post, these are the walls: North - Wall with clock and large desk. East - Wall with a small table and a wooden door Tap on the cat and its eyes will move left and right Keep tapping its eyes until it moves up and this completes the sequence of Lefts and Rights. Take a note of it. Here's the tricky part: you have to do it in the opposites. I believe the reason is because the cat saw the castle owner did this to the pendulum, but the cat is looking from the opposite wall.
Hence, cat's eyes moving to the Left in the player's point of view is actually pendulum's Right point of view looking at North wall. After entering the pendulum's swing sequence correctly remember opposite to cat's eyes sequence , you will hear a clock sound. Now, remember the cat looked UP as its final sequence? Go to the clock view with the Bird, and it will give you a key. This key unlocks the 'fake door' in the WEST wall. Opens the compass from the right cabinet in NORTH wall read my original walkthrough for how to open compass to obtain the other key for the 'fake door'.
Now, with the fake door opened, you thought you'd have escape?? Not so easy. There is another door!! There will be some english words such as 'Sheesh Gotta get creative here: 'I' is 1, 'Z' is 2, 'E' is 3, 'h' is 4, 'S' is 5 The message is different each time you start up a new game just like the cat eyes sequence. Take note of this code and the patterns on this metal door! You can't always come back for the numbers. Some puzzles trigger the candle to burn off. Gotta do it before that happens.
This is the hint to playing the tunes on the music box. On the music box: leftmost bar is 1, then 2, then 3, then 4 and rightmost is 5. Play the tune the sequence of numbers upside down you found earlier and tap music box. Then you will hear a sliding door sound. For the middle lower drawer in the SOUTH wall, you have to keep on tapping it a few times to get it open.
You will see a metal plate with sockets if you have played the new tunes to the music box. It is similar to the wooden box behind the painting on the wall. Please see to my last post if you need help with finding the coins and gems as well as the pattern to insert the coins. Escape through the tunnel and meet a secret character!
